How she can help

Bloomfield, New Jersey

Why patients choose this practice

  • A New Jersey clinical license (LCSW)

A regulated profession: graduate education, supervised clinical practice and a licensing exam, all verifiable in the state registry.

  • Clinical work since 1982

Including opening Poland's first clinic for teenagers addicted to heroin, in close cooperation with Marek Kotański within MONAR.

  • Care coordinated with physicians

When a psychiatric, internal medicine or endocrine consultation is needed, she refers you, so therapy and medical care move in the same direction.

  • Your own language and a real understanding of immigration

She came to America as an adult, without English, and knows what it takes to live between two cultures.

Choosing a therapist

Qualifications you can verify

When choosing a therapist, it helps to know what training stands behind the title.

This practice follows a simple principle: assessment first, then treatment.

In New Jersey, the LCSW license is issued by a state board after a master's degree, documented supervised clinical experience and a licensing exam, and anyone can look it up in the state's public registry.

In practice, it works like this: during the first sessions she assesses what brought you in, names the problem and discusses a treatment plan with you.
